End The Hassle of Product Catalog Maintenance

From the very first dealer website we did four and a half years ago to today, one of the biggest challenges dealers face is maintaining product catalogs on their site.  Some of our clients chose not to have a product catalog, meaning that clients had to go to the OEM's website for info.  This is obviously not a good method, given the growth in manufacturer direct operations.

Other clients had us create new pages on their website each time a new product came out.  This incurred design charges every time we had to modify a page. Plus, who wants to contact the web company every time a new product is launched.

Others tried to do this internally.  Let's face it--we are all busy.  So, many of these dealers ended up having old product info on their site.

Some contracted with third party companies to maintain their product catalogs. However, in many cases they were not able to control which models appeared on their site, creating sales confusion. Plus, they often had to subscribe to other services that they did not need.

So, earlier this year we set out to develop a system to do product catalogs right:

  • Give you control over what models show up
  • Give you control over how to group models — for example: create a "Color" catalog with products from Canon, HP and Ricoh.
  • Optimize it all for search engines

We have done all of the above.  In the process, we have even made the service better than we originally envisioned it.  And, we will be announcing even more exciting options as we grow.

Take a look around, kick the tires and let us know what you think — we would love to hear from you.
